Chinchwad

The Chinchwad facility of TM Automotive Seating Systems, inaugurated in January 2023, spans 92,000sq. ft. and is dedicated exclusively to supporting Tata Motors’ Passenger Vehicle Business Unit (PVBU). The facility supplies advanced seating systems for key programs including Harrier, Safari, Altroz and Punch. Equipped with Just-in-Time (JIT) assembly lines and an integrated metal facility for front seat structures, this plant also boasts its state-of-the-art Innovation hub, DOJO Setup.​

Sanand

Spanning 82,000 sq. ft., the Sanand facility of TM Automotive Seating Systems manufactures complete seating systems for Tata Motors’ Sierra program and seat components for export to Stellantis. The plant features in-house capabilities for front seat structures and seat armrest frames, strengthening its integrated manufacturing capabilities. Operating on a Just-in-Time (JIT) supply model, the facility ensures seamless delivery to Tata Motors while supporting global export programs.

Chakan

The Chakan facility of TM Automotive Seating Systems, established in September 2023, spans 126000 sq. ft. and supports programs for Tata Motors’ Commercial Vehicle Business Unit (CVBU) and John Deere. The facility houses a Best-in-Class Testing facility equipped to conduct the all required tests for seating systems like jounce and squirm, ingress and egress, durability, and airbag testing, ensuring that every seating system meets the highest standards of performance, reliability, and safety.​ The location also serves as an Engineering Center, where TM Seating undertakes the design and development of seating systems for diverse segments including Commercial Vehicles, Buses, Off-Road Vehicles, Two-Wheelers, and Railways, strengthening the company’s capabilities in innovation and product engineering.

Lucknow

The Lucknow facility of TM Automotive Seating Systems caters to Tata Motors’ Commercial Vehicle seating programs, Tata Marcopolo bus seats, and aftermarket bus body builders. The plant focuses on manufacturing best-in-class seating products, driven by robust processes and stringent quality standards to ensure consistent performance and reliability.​

The plant produces best-in-class seating systems and supplies them to passenger vehicle customers through Just-in-Time (JIT) delivery, ensuring efficiency and seamless integration with customer production lines.​
