Chief Executive Officer

Alan joined Artifex Interior Systems as Chief Executive
Officer in June 2024.

Prior to that Alan worked for Jaguar Land Rover for over
24 years as a highly experienced Financial Director with
a commitment to excellence and a passion for driving
innovation and growth within the automotive sector.

As the Chief Executive Officer of Artifex, Alan brings a
wealth of expertise in business planning, management,
continuous improvement, corporate finance, and
engineering.

Andrej Janotka

General Manager

Andrej was appointed to the position of General
Manager of Artifex Systems Slovakia s.r.o in
December 2025. Before joining Artifex, Andrej
worked for IAC Group for over 20 years, in
multiple roles in Program, Engineering and
Operations.

He brings with him decades of experience in the
automotive sector a wealth of expertise in
continuous improvement, engineering, and most
importantly people & team development.

Under Andrej’s leadership, IAC Group Slovakia
was successfully acquired and transformed as
part of the Artifex Group, achieving stabilization of operational and financial performance.

Andrej holds a Materials Engineering degree from the Slovak Technical University Bratislava

Anthony Curtis

Chief Operating Officer

Tony joined Artifex Interior Systems Limited as Chief
Operating Officer in June 2024. Prior to that, Tony
worked within the automotive industry for over 15
years, bringing a wealth of experience in operations,
material planning, and logistics.

excellence through a people-centric management

Caroline Brooks

Executive Director Procurement

Caroline joined Artifex Interior Systems as
Executive Director, Procurement in June 2024.
She leads Artifex’s forward-thinking and skilled
procurement team, with a key priority to embed
processes and practices that complement the
size and aspirations of Artifex. This enables the
team to focus on highly valuable procurement
activities.

Prior to joining Artifex, Caroline held the position
of Senior Procurement Manager Interiors at
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), where she started in
2012. During her time at JLR, she worked in
various roles, including Body in White and
Aftermarket Procurement. Before JLR, Caroline
was with the Construction Engineering and Procurement Organization – Bechtel. In her
international capacity at Bechtel, she supported highly complex projects while being based in
London, Calgary, and Texas.

Caroline is a passionate procurement professional with nearly 20 years of experience. She
advocates for change and the utilization of technology to enrich working practices.
Additionally, she is a steadfast supporter of employee development, providing opportunities,
inclusivity, and helping people thrive professionally.

Caroline holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Administration from the
University of Cardiff and a Master of Science (MSc) in Purchasing and Supply Chain
Management from Robert Gordon University. She is also accredited MCIPS

John Hickman

Chief Financial Officer

John is a dedicated leader who has over 20 years of
financial and operational experience within the
automotive industry, demonstrating a track record in
functional and business leadership across public
companies and private equity environments.

Prior to joining Artifex, John held the roles of
European Chief Financial Officer and UK Chief
Operations Officer within the IAC Group, leading and
delivering transformative change. His earlier career
included 13 years within GKN Automotive, the UK
headquartered global automotive technology
company, operating across a broad range financial
directorship positions.

John is responsible for all Finance, Information Technology and Legal matters at Artifex and
is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accounts in England and Wales

Michelle Kirkham

Executive Director Commercial

Michelle Kirkham is the Executive Director of
Commercial at Artifex, bringing with her over 20
years of extensive experience in the automotive
sector. Before joining Artifex, Michelle served in
multiple roles across IAC Group starting in Supply
Chain Management, Operations to include opening
of new ground up facilities, consolidation and airlift
projects, later in 2010 moving into Commercial.

Development, Business Planning, and other

Mike Clowry

Chief Technology Officer

Mike Clowry is the Chief Technical Officer at Artifex,
bringing with him nearly 30 years of extensive
experience in the automotive sector. Before joining
Artifex, Mike served as the Senior Vice President for
Program Management, Engineering, and Corporate
Quality at IAC Group. In his current role, he oversees
new product development, implementation, R&D, and
other associated activities.

Throughout his career, Mike has specialized in
engineering and program delivery for interior trim at
several first-tier companies. He has also held
significant positions in Business Unit management
and New Customer Development. His passion for
engineering and his commitment to solving product and process challenges is his driving
force. Mike also believes that talented teams, operating within an excellent framework that
collaborates intensively, are essential to delivering great results.

Mike is dedicated to ensuring that engineering and program management are seamlessly
integrated into business operations, guaranteeing that technical and broader business
requirements are met. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Coventry
University and a Master of Business Administration from Aston Business School

Rebecca Backhurst is the Executive Director
Human Resources Artifex, bringing with her

Before joining Artifex, Rebecca worked for IAC
Group for over 20 years, in multiply roles spanning
the European HR function. In her current role, she
oversees Human Resources, Payroll, Learning &
Development, Health and Safety.

Rebecca promotes collaboration and builds strong
relationships with employees and partners. She
drives results which support the company’s growth
and fosters a positive work environment. Rebecca
is passionate about providing a safe, sustainable
workplace for all. She holds a bachelor’s degree in
human resources management from
