Inclusion

Tata AutoComp's Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives champion inclusion by empowering marginalized communities through skill development, accessibility, and meaningful opportunities. From supporting the specially-abled and visually impaired to uplifting transgender individuals, every program reflects a commitment to building a more empathetic, diverse, and inclusive society where every individual is valued and given a fair chance. These values come alive through the following initiatives:

Swayam – Café DIL: Vocational Skills for Specially-Abled People

Implementation Partner: SVP / Prayatna

Dil Café empowers specially-abled youth by providing hands-on training in hospitality and customer service. Students gain valuable soft skills and real-world experience at a live café counter, boosting their confidence and employability. The program actively promotes the inclusion of autistic students, training them to become baristas and nurturing their independence. It prepares them for meaningful careers in a supportive, inclusive environment. The program is implemented in association with the NGOs — Social Venture Partners India and Prayatna.

Transgender – REVIVE: Vocational Skill Training and Employability

Implementation Partner: Periferry

REVIVE is a skilling and empowerment initiative for transgender individuals, aimed at enhancing self-esteem and enabling meaningful employment. The program includes professional training, legal support, employee sensitization, and partnerships with businesses to create inclusive job opportunities. This initiative promotes a respectful and diverse workplace environment where every individual is valued. With Periferry as the implementation partner, REVIVE strengthens Tata AutoComp’s commitment to equity and inclusion, ensuring marginalized communities are given equal access to growth and opportunity.

Samata – Sports for Persons with Disabilities (Run in Sync)

Implementation Partner: Adventure Beyond Barriers Foundation (ABBF)

Project SAMATA promotes inclusion through the power of sports, uniting specially-abled and abled individuals on a shared platform. The initiative breaks barriers, nurtures understanding, and encourages equal participation. Sports become a medium to build confidence, foster empathy, and develop teamwork. Through SAMATA, communities move towards greater accessibility and acceptance, where every individual finds a space to grow, connect, and be celebrated. The project reinforces the belief that inclusion begins with shared experiences and collective spirit.

Students with Learning Disabilities

Implementation Partner: Anjali Morris Foundation

This project addresses the learning needs of children with learning disabilities through early identification and customised interventions. The initiative strengthens academic confidence and promotes inclusive education within schools and communities.

Jaipur Foot – Mobility Aids Distribution

Implementation Partner: BMVSS

Jaipur Foot Initiative supports individuals with physical disabilities by providing free prosthetic limbs and mobility aids. The program restores mobility, enhances independence, and helps beneficiaries regain control of their lives. On-ground camps offer assessment, fitting, and support, enabling recipients to move confidently and engage actively in society. The initiative promotes dignity and inclusion, creating opportunities for individuals to participate fully in their communities and lead fulfilling lives with improved physical and emotional well-being.
